Hello from Canada

Postby Demon Diesel » Wed Nov 14, 2012 4:28 am

Always looking to learn more when I can.
I have a 2007 Audi A4 that was originally a 2.0T FSI.
I have converted it to a 2.0TDI. Yes crazy but this engine was never an option here in Canada.

Any info I can get would be great. Not really interested in becoming a professional tune. Knowledge is good though.

Welcome Demon Diesel,
sorry for your 2.0 TFSI that pretty interesting engine,
but now you ride diesel...

So you car runs or not? What are you interested in?
And which ECU do you use:

Anyway interesting conversion. ;)

Thanks,

I've always been a diesel guy and can't get away from the excellent torque and fuel mileage. :D

Conversion is running but never complete. Some upgrades to come.

I'd like to get to know this ECU better (EDC16U31). When I go to the link it shows many options for Audi A4 2.0TDI... Mine is a BPW (PD140 8valve).

Ideally I would like to understand more about the maps and DPF delete. DPF is to expensive to import here and install. The car will have to run without it or the sensors (2 x temp, 1 pressure). Also thinking of EGR delete. Performance tune to come later.

Also would like some IMMO info but for now it's running with IMMO-OFF. I have a "virgin" ECU so IMMO syncing should be possible but still challanging.

Any help would be great.

Demon Diesel,
I also have an EDC16u31 (I'm putting a PD100 into an mk1 chassis) and I was wondering if you sent your ecu to a tuner to have the immo deleted.

and if you did it yourself, if you could let me know how

Thanks,
T
