convetring slave to master

alientech will do this for you properly but not cheap, it can be done cheap but will no longer be able to update or connect to internet as far as I am aware, unless they have figured out a better way to do it.

I know this is an old post but thought I would post this as I have enquirer about this recently.

I have a kess v2 slave and I'm looking to upgrade it to a master.
I contacted alien tech by email and gave them my serial number. I asked to upgrade to a master but they won't let you do it. You have to go to the master of your slave and ask them to do the upgrade. It costs around 1700 euros and as far as I'm aware you need to have subscription on your device.
