EGR off in vw Touran 2.0 tdi edc16u yes/not possible?

Hello everybody, had before an peugeot. Now i have an VW Touran TDI 2.0 16v 2004 KBD engine ( EDC16U)

i want to close or disable the EGR on this engine: BKD 2.0 16v 140bhp.

Read a lot on this site and offcourse google....

I am using the galletto 1260 to read and write . I want it to use it for the Touran to read the file. After i click on ecu data i am receiving an message error see picture. After that i can't find the model touran i have. What is wrong do i need to update or something.? I have chosen for golf 5 TDI 2.0 140 CV

Is this the right one?

Your file EGR off.

Better do BDM full backup, don't play with galleto 1260 on these engines.

Thank you very much. So the file is now EGR oFF. But the qeustion is now wich cable do i need to use for reading and writing on my engine. BDM is your advice?

Wich cable is that?

Or any other cable or link that will work for my engine.
