A friend's friend bought some tune from a US based company for his Opel GT and tried to flash it to the ECU but it got stucked at 99% forever (at least one hour), and the ECU is dead since then.
He thought something was wrong with the ECU and bought another one and same story with that one. :)
So he now has two pretty expensive door stops. :D

Is there any way to rescue this ECU´s?
I don't have any problem desoldering the flash if that is needed.
