problem reading EDC17CP14

Hi everybody.
need a help. can not read EDC17CP14 VW Golf TDI 2012 not with KTag 2.10 nor FG Tech Galetto V54. the same EDC 2011 year read with no problem.
KTag says to check connection and power and can not even identify the the ECU. Galetto can identify the ECU but when to read it give a message - not supported ECU. but at the bottom in info windows says that unlock password failed.
what is the problem? is it possible to read that ECU?

has same problem with my cmdflash

could read ecu obd but programm not save the file chechsum error

then i did it with thricore and now it's ok

I got info that Bocsh set antituning protection on this ECU from 2012. Is anybody knows how to deal with this thing.

what do you mean "unlock the file". I can not read this ecu at all

what tool you use ? genuine tool can read it

i read it in boot mode tricore on audi Q5
then you can write boot mode or patch ecu and write obd

I have ktag 2.10 and galetto v54. both are clone. but they work good on this ecu on model 2011 year. I did some job with it. but on 2012 they do not work

The reason you can't use those tools is because that car you are working on has a higher TProt protection on it.

You are going to prob need a genuine tool to tackle that on the bench.

CMD can't do the CP14 properly , they ask you to unlock on bench first.

Done the same ecu with MPPS Tricore and patched it for future read / write over OBD
