I/O Terminal Tool

Postby eagleone » Tue Sep 01, 2015 7:59 pm

I have been looking at this tool as it can read mpc over obd on several ecus.

However it reads flash, eeprom and mpc individually. How can one then create a bdm2go file ?

Was at the time of posting trying to ubderstand the difference. Have since found out the bdm2go contains all the ecu areas , whereas i/o lets you access and save them individually

As in MPC555 processor traditionally done on the bench using BDM but this little I/O Terminal Tool lets you access the MPC555 over OBD! And it works great.

You buy the tool and then you purchase a SIM card for each ecu plugin you want. in my case I have Denso and siemens.

The developer has a Bosch plugin (limited coverage but growing under each release) , Magneti Mareli etc.
