i would like to know your experience mainly on truck tuning with swiftec.
i am currently working with winols, recently i finished a development of mercedes temic ecu for bus, took a lot of weeks of testing, but current map pack is very decent.
so i would like to know experience with volvo trw2, motorola cummins cm850, bosch edc7, temic and bosch ms 6.2 and motorola scania ems s6 and swiftec.
are maps accurate??? and are plenty of maps???, because for example ecm titanium on vw constellation edc7 is very poor, i have found many more maps on winols (took also a lot of time of development), so idea is to use a reliable tool and save time.

Swiftec 1.9.2.2

Toyota / Lexus with Denso supported now! Maps, DTC, DPF, EGR and Checksum!
As you may know already, it's now possible to read and write Toyota and Lexus with Denso ECU based on NEC 76F00xx MCU. It's completly new area for all tuning community, one of the most awaited steps it's finally done! It have really different maps layout with other common ECU procedures, so all of existing popular tuning softwares were catched by surprise, including Swiftec... UNTIL NOW!

After receiving some files from our costumers, we immediatly started researching it and we are now happy to present you new update of Swiftec with complety automatical support for Toyota / Lexus with Denso ECU based on NEC 76F00xx MCU!

So what have we made?

- Updated Main Module and Map Manager to be able correctly shows this kind of maps!

- Updated ECU Information Detection Module, it detects now ECU Type, ECU SW and HW numbers!

- Automatical Maps Detection Module was updated also, it works like a train! and is able to find (depending on read type), between 300-1000 maps! This is unique feature in world for Toyota Denso ECUs.

- Next Step was Automatical Map Recognition Module, based on detected maps, Swiftec finds and names the most important for tune maps including axis, if some maps are skipped, you can always contact our support to help and find it, or can try find it yourself, with Swiftec Maps Detections Module it becomes very easy to find needed maps! But in 90% of usage costumers will not need wait for map packs, just load file to Swiftec and get automatic map packs!

- DTC Removal Module sure also support it!

- We have added DPF Removal solution for it, and like usually it's not need to find and correct any maps or switches, Swiftec will do it automatically with one click!

- We did not forgot to add also EGR Removal solution for it, and like usually it's not need to find and correct some maps or switches also, Swiftec will do it automatically with one click!

- We also developed checksum for it, that covers all existing types of read in market : 368KB, 498KB, 736KB, 738KB, 992KB and 994KB.This checksum module was released yesterday!

All this updates were tested and checked on 2.0d, 2.2d, 2.5d, 3.0d and 4.5d engines, but if you have other type, we will be happy to add support of it to Swiftec!

Let me tell another way to see things.

I really never worked with WinOLS and I really want to work with....really..

I can only tell about Alientech software.

You can hardly do your job, many maps needed are not there or have wrongs naming.
Ignition Advance do not are in degrees for example..

Many people where I live, South America, are the owners of the repair shops, that do not have knowledge or even time do develop a "project" at WinOLS.

The better part of Alientech are the "drivers", that are mini mappacks that helps who do not have the "real" knowledge of the maps, also you can buy checksum packs correction that is a great thing.

Clearly many OBD hardware as kess and Ktag do the chekcsum correction before writing it, there are some cars that the hardware do not do it...

I am not making any marketing to Swiftech software, but those one who want a far better software than Alientech has......this is the firs step.

In dead, Swiftec is expensive, but do have much...far much more information and functions than Titanium Alientech does....

So probably for the guys that do not have time and knowledge to develop their projects, this is the best way...
Things around here are to expensive....if you in Europe thing that price around is expensive...

Think around here.........even 4 times or more the same product you buy........taxes + exchange rate + greed.....

Reading about biggest tuners using WinOLS surely make me think that this could be, the best software for those who want a fuckingyahhh tuning....

But for the user that need to do fast tuning, to pay all the investment.....sorry but. knowledge has it price...and you has the knowledge to use and tune WinOLS....very well done...but others...do not have this opportunity....

Even Swiftec price bigger than WinOLS, the "learning" curve is far faster than WinOLS.....

I tried many times to learn something with WinOLS, in other forums also, but...had never someone answered my e-mail that asked for "help"...

Even I telling that I think it is conscientious that I would pay for this.

So is quite complicate for some, pay 1.500 Euros and cannot start giving payback.
So where you can get some training? Some company? Some one?

Swiftec update is out today! As usually it includes lots of new features and improvements for existing modules! But this time we prepared some special thing for our customers,a very nice feature related to VAG MED9 ECUs - it's now possible for any Swiftec customer to request MED9 files with extra injected code into original software that will enable lots of new functions in ECU, together with this new file we produce a special map pack that will enable customers to control all this new functions, how to activate, how to react, if with hard cut or normal cut , etc...
This is a module still in development and more new things will be added in future!
