Ford Focus 1.6 TDCI EGR

Postby matrixpt » Sat Sep 19, 2015 3:18 pm

hello to all.

After replacing my old broken egr valve,by a new one, i've made the service procedure of learning new egr.

Everithing seems to work fine, and the car started fine and ok, but after some miles, something went wrong, because i felt that the car entered in limp mode.

so, i stoped the car and checked that ecu stored this 3 errors:

P1412 - EGR Valve Frozen
P0490 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit High
P042F - EGR Control Stuck Closed

Now, i've figure it out, why everyone is closing them..

Anyone can help me by turn them off and removing DTC?

the dump get by Galletto V4 :

Any Help please

hello again!

After the write, sucefully!! :drive: , and erased all DTC's, still have the same errors (with ECU connected to EGR) and the car still in limp mode!:

P1412 - EGR Valve Frozen
P0490 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit High
P042F - EGR Control Stuck Closed

if i take out the conector connected to the EGR, the car runs well, no lights on dash, and only show this DTC:

P0405 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low.

why?!?!? some one helps to figure it out!??!?!

Hi

Sorry to drag this old post up but did the file posted by PPVORONOV work? I have got a 2005 110bhp focus with no dpf and I am experiencing the exact same issues. I am hoping his file will get rid of those problems but I'd only give it a go if I dont give myself further issues because that file contains dpf.

Thanks
