R53 cooper S lambda off, is Galletto safe?

Hello all, iv been playing with a flash file in winols and am confident in incorporating the JCW throttle map into my 163bhp cooper.
I want to ask if the cheap Galletto cable will do the job for reading/writing?
Also does anyone know the address for downstream O2 lambda? Or is there a way of building a circuit to tick the ecu when it comes to fitting my header?

Hi mate,
Gallleto cheap cable can do the job, no danger,is 100% safe for Siemens EMS2000 ECU.
About second Lambda sensor of, can't do that in winols, only with NCS Expert sw(because is something as a rolling code,switch don't have a fixed address, can't explain more with my poor english)
Don't play to much with R53 sw, because is gasoline supercharged engine, if you run lean, can melt pistons.
Only copy the JCW throttle map is not enough, as you know, JCW have bigger injectors-380cc-, reduced SC pulley,and also other hw mods.In fact, this "Throttle map" is misname, the right name is "Torque Limiter for manual or automatic transmission"-, and determines the driver requested torque based on the accelerator pedal angle and engine speed.
This is codding address for second Lambda off with NCS Expert.

Thanks for the advice it is a 20x7 map with values ranging from around 60 to 135 and 70 to 155 (jcw 200).

I will be fitting 15% pulley I have jcw exhaust and just need to modify my airbox now. I just want it to allow more power. Apparently this map restricts the throttle valve opening? Is this how it limits torque?

Can I use this software on my .Ori file?

Need bigger injectors mate, now your 320cc injectors work on full load on 90%duty cycle with stock sw and hw.
won't get 210HP without change injectors with bigger size.Of course can't use JCW sw on your car, won't start.Fiting bigger injectors on your car is easy only as mechanical operation, but for new sw need a lot of knowledge about this ECU.Don't try to start your car with bigger injectors and only Throttle mod map, much of the gasoline will go directly in exhaust.

I think you're talking about a map that controls the linearity of the throttle pedal? There is no restriction in maximum angle of the throttle valve on the R53.

Throttle flap have min. openinig at 7 deg. and max. opening at 81deg.
You can only change the flap opening depending on the angle of gas pedal, and also there is another map where can change the sensitivity of gas pedal with similar effect as Sprint Booster device.High RPM and full open throttle flap mean full boost for this car.

I was talking about the JCW 200 map, Could i not use the values from this map?

This is the map i refer to (Dont shout, i am only using ECM for locations as they all vary on Mini files for some reason)
So are you saying this is actually a torque limit?
