In this mode the passwords can be readout the these ECUs:

BMW all incl. MEVD17.2.x
Mercedes all incl. MED17.7.2
McLaren MED17.9.7
Ford, Opel, VAG, PSA

Can you provide a little more context as to what you're talking about here?

I am interested in tuning F series BMW's (135/235/335/435/535)

TC1793/98 mit external Eprom -> MED17.7.5

TC1782/84 -> ME17.9.20 = Smart
