Explaination of EEP Checksumm

Can anybody explain me how does the XChecksumm Algo work on EEP Data EDC16 (and amybe EDC15)?

it meanly work with block of 80

so you have from 0 to 7F is meanly one block

Thank you.
I don't have an Special case.
Sometimes i get broken ECUs and i just want to check the Data. (for example Serial EEprom). And it doesn't matter which kind.
Sample: Edc15C6, Edc15P+ oder EDc16 U1 / U34, EDC7C3 .....

For edc16 i have some Tools to check (calc) but für al EDc15 I need to figure out by myself
