Z20LET ME1.5.5 Bricked?

Hi all,
I have a VX220 Turbo with a ME1.5.5 ECU-
I had the car remapped by TMS but was not happy with the result - decided to read the map and then load the standard OEM map back. I purchased a Galletto 1260 from ebay, connected to the ECU, read the map file fine and saved to laptop.
When re-programming with the base map file it wrote the file but reported a seed key error at the end!! The car still starts and runs fine but I can't now connect to the ECU - no response just ...... ..... .. etc and a silent key error. I have re-tried reading several times, and with a battery charger connected but nothing.
Is it bricked or is it the Galletto? and can this be recovered?

Will an MPPS read even if a Galletto can't? - could the ECU be locked?

Hi, the galletto has probley locked the ecu when u uploaded the file you can try to read the file if you dissconect the plug off the coil pk if this dont work better off to buy a mpps then this will read it even if locked i had simlar problem when using kwp i know only use a mpps much better tool
