BMW 320d EDC16 ECU cloning

I have a broken ECU. The hardware has a bug that car goes out sometimes. Is it possible to clone the ECU software to another used ECU with Galletto V54? Do I need to make it through BDM?

Yes you can clone ecu with fgtech v54.
You must to read full mpc,eeprom and flash from old then program to new ecu thru bdm port.

If you want to clone abrila ecu and see what has memory if you have a flash 29f200 or SMD desis and tell me which is that you have to share with you want to clone, greetings.

As you can see in Tittle Ecu is EDC16 so not 29fxxx...

Mpc inside.
For me surest way is Bdm, but open ecu is man datory.

Bdm or whatever way you want you need to copy all info MPC + FLASH + SERIAL EEPROM...

I've done it with KTAG - no problem and very fast. Like was said you need to do it by BDM, will be suitable for you when you will use BDM frame. For opening I recomend using hot air gun - then its going easy. With closing the case use new sealing.
