Postby Rollagti » Mon Oct 19, 2015 9:27 pm

Hello, anyone there got a 370 hp option for a Golf 5 GTI 2.0 TFSI.?
Right now it is stock, but how much hardware must be changed ?

First and foremost, welcome! I am a new user on ECUedit.com and am looking to gain knowledge. I am also looking for a good general starting point for higher horsepower builds past 350+ for the 2.0 TFSI. Where can I get started on this forum?

the golf 5 2.0 tfsi is 200hp. you will def need hardware upgrades if you want to go in the 350 range, only doing software is not going to do it for you

On a 2.0 TFSI BWA anything past 350bhp/350TQ you need to upgrade engine internals especially Connecting Rods. Ideally rods and pistons.

If you want a nice good read look at R-Tech http://r-techperformance.co.uk/2-0-tfsi-tuning/

Forged C-rods would be a good start
With your stock turbocharger you wont bee able to achieve those numbers
A common setup is k04-064 turbo (from s3-leon cupra-mkv edition-tts) , injectors from the same models, bigger fmic , hpfp , CAI , bigger exhaust (76mm dp and 76mm or 70mm catback) and of course a remap
