Land Rover Discovery 3 2.7l TDV6 SMOKING

Postby Euro.jdi » Wed Oct 21, 2015 3:08 am

Hello all, I'm new to this forum and new to chip tuning, But I'm not sure if others have had as good experience as I, but I'm finding it to be a rather pleasing experience and not as difficult as many have said it to be ( so Far). I've managed to tinker with a few diesels with good outcomes. So any ways, An acquaintance of mine recently purchased a Land Rover Discovery 3 2.7 TDV6 and he informed me that previous owner had ecu re-flashed with some file for more hp , he stated runs great, even though he never did drive it on it's original file, only thing is it smokes all through the rev and speed range and before I go and attempt to adjust the file on the ecu I like to see if anyone has an original file for this vehicle and or any pitfalls with this particular engine I should look out for any advice is welcome.

Thank you God Bless: JDI.

Try to read your flash. Find the ori and start to compare. :)

we will need the ecu hw and software numbers to find you an original file. you would have to read the file with a flashing tool

OK will do. Thanks for the reply I didn't post the file because I though since I have not posted over three posts I was not able to upload or download any files off site. will be back ASAP with file.
