hi, im currently mapping using a clone mpps v16 and an fg tech v54, this is just to get the ball rolling and if i can get it to take off i will be purchasing a professional tool. i know its not ideal what i am using but id like some advice on whats the best tool to use and also what tools is useful for vauxhall had a couple looking mapped and the mpps or fg doesnt have the capabilities to read them

Are you mainly looking to do the 1.9 engines? Use Kess. The C9 ECU does not support reading, but the C39 (mid 2006 onwards roughly) does. Kess will write a full file through the diagnostic port for both. ID the car, get the HW/SW numbers, and find the ori from one of the good trusted suppliers online. Modify the file and write.
