Does kess v2 and k tag still function when its not up to date?
Or do i need to pay each jear for update?

A bit late for the reply but yes it will still work, it just won't receive any new vehicles. Don't let the subscription run out for too long though. If you let the subscription expire for 6 months, so say it expired in January and you renew the subscription in July for 1 year. You will only get 6 months of updates because they will include the 6 months you used the Kess/Ktag without subscription for.
