Hi Everyone...Newbie from the UK

Hi all,

Just a quick introduction to myself....

I am steve, i run an automotive diagnostics business here in the UK and i like to play with fast bikes and cars. I run a 2000 Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0HDI, i am hell bent on getting more economy out of it and as such i plan on a bit of a remap, decat exhaust, EGR off and a lighter right foot. You will have to bear with me as i am very new to the remapping thing and i am getting to grips with WINOLS which is an old version on one of my diagnostic laptops but it seems to work well so i am happy enough.
Does anyone have any advice relating to the maps on the 2.0HDI motor as i am struggling to get my head around what a lot of the "potential maps" actually control.
Just to set any minds at ease, i am not interested in adding this remapping to mu business portfolio as it seems like a can of worms to me and i would rather keep it as far away from my business as i can, hence having a play with my own car instead.
