Peugeot 406 2.2HDi EDC15C2 MAFFLESS TUNE

Postby stanleybg » Thu Feb 18, 2016 6:55 pm

I found with help of my friend

0x63730 and 0x73730h are rail pressure sensor linearistaions (4x1)
- 0x63982 and 0x73982h are MAP sensor linearisations (4x1 which is quite strange)
- 0x639E0 and 0x739E0h are MAF sensor linearisations (12x1 as in every EDC15C2 HDI)

Can you help me do maffless tune. This is my original file atached.I need to find MAFF to MAP switch.I want to remove MAFF.There also must be MAP maps recalculated. How to recalculate them ? I am allready with ECUEDIT remap.I see smoke limiter maps and need to recalculate other maps that are "map-manifold absolute pressure" based.
As i read maffless tuned cars pulls better :)
If i am not wrong.
1- find MAF TO MAP SWITCH - should be 000 to 001 - to activate MAP
2-recalculate this map that is "manifold absolute pressure sensor" based from smoke limiter map which is MAF based.

Can you guys help me for this ?
Thanks in advance.

Actually i think i found MAF OFF SWITCH at address - 61170
And MAF DIAGNOSTIC SWITCH at address - 61171
I didn't try them yet.Can you confirm that this addresses are right.
The other map that i am searching for is MAP LIMITER.That i have to modify coresponding to smoke limiter.
When MAF is switched off smoke limiter is no more active map

SWITCH - 61126 , check the DAMOS cowFUN_M_L
Luftmassenerfassung
P_korr durch T2 = 1
P_korr. durch LDF = 2
P_korr. durch ADF = 4
M_L Erfassung und P_korr. durch T2 = 17
M_L Erfassung durch LDF = 18
M_L Erfassung durch ADF = 20
M_L Erfassung durch LMM = 48

68BAE - 2*2 map M_E = f( N, P_aircorr.) likely. Only axis reassign
63f10 - P_aircorr. = f(P_air, T_air)

1. Switch, M_air/P_air correction measure/calculate from P, T (cowFUN_M_L): value 48 put to 18
2. xxx MAP limiter M_E = f( N, P_aircorr.) 2x2 map: change axis of X and Y to get boost from 0 up to desired bar boost, and also Y axis for rpm, extend to desired values.

1. - that is a switch
2. MAP smoke limiter.

Explain why 18? I put the 1 - Pressure correction on air temperature.

Because when you put 18 you get MAP limiter actualy used as primary injection limiter and MAF limiter completely ignorred. If you check for sample Cargo EDC15C2 or EDC17C7 ecu that has no MAF sensor for sample Citroen Jumper or Peugeot Boxer, they are MAP based cars, you will see that there is actually number 18 as well.

I did MAF OFF on a 2.0hdi 110, but I only replaced 48 with 2 and populated the MAP based smoke limiter 16x16 map.
Then, to check if MAF limiter is ignored, I replaced all the values in the maf smoke limiter with a fixed low value (10mm3) and everything works as it should, MAF limiter is ignored.
However, if MAF is disconnected there is a DTC from the intake temp sensor.
I did not modify the 2x2 map and it is working. How is that possible?
