Corsa 1.7Di ecu locked!

Hi all! im new here and first i want to say that my english is not so good :D so i hope someone understand eaven a little what im saying :oops:

the problems is that i locked my ecu. First i flashed astra dti ecu file to my corsa, and it worked well. Then i wanted to try another file and flashed it with no problems and no errors. Then try to start the car, and wont start anymore. Next i think, ok i just flash the original file back, but no! gives only error when i try to flash it. I have try whit galletto 1260, and kwp2000+ and same thinkg all the time. i have tryid to disconnect battery and no help :oops:

The question is how i can restore my original ecu files back? i know tech2 will do it, but idont know anyone who has it. or can i use galletto 1260 with boot mode? Please help me :(

i dont really know what you mean what is my ecu? the model i think is Delco LVP11. I know only finnish words of these parts so i hafty search almost all from internet before writing here :oops:

I managed to fix the ECU. I used KWP2000 device directly connected to the ECU. I could not find information on how to connect it, but i found one picture from google and connected it sameway. I use pc power source cables and kwp2000 banana cable. I found many forums that people have bricked theyr ecu*s, and everytime the only solution has been new ecu or tech2 device. maybe if post here pictures and instructions how to do it, it may help many people :D

Hi mate,
you better be writing what not to do to lock an ECU, What capital mistake is to write on your ECU files taken elsewhere from the net. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

what is your problem? isn't this topic for recovering bricked ecu? What help did you give for this post? can you show me where you can find wiring diagram to connect directly to ecu in this car? i didnt find it, and that the only help what i can give to someone if he needs it.

adriancl you know these things better than me so can you please help me :oops: ! I have try to read everywhere about the checksums and i just dont get it. if i modify file, the checksum will always change, and if its wrong it dont work in car. after modifing the file how can i restore the orignal checksum?
