Problem flashing EDC17CP14

Hello @all,
I have a second problem with flashing a Tiguan, build in 2008 with the EDC17CP14 ECU.
When I start to flash it shows me the message "This file has been modified by another program. This file is possibly tuning protected, continue?". The one who optimized me the file said that EDC17CP14 would be no problem to flash, but I'm not sure what to do here? Is it safe to click "Yes"?
I Hope someone can help me.

type of read that you made?

oh. i forgot...my flash tool is mpps v16... And i read a binary file, gave it to someone who is familiar with optimizing ecu-files and just wanted to write it on the edc

mate,

i think the best way to tune edc17 with TPROT is boot mode.

if the ecu have TPROT you dont have access to write file but im not sure about that.

mate, try write file. or wait for someone with more experience to reply
