Adjusting turbo maps according its compressor map

Postby GedasGG » Tue Apr 19, 2016 10:40 pm

Hello,

BMW E39 525D, GT2260v turbo.

The main problem is, I cannot manage to adjust values to spin bigger turbo as it should, according compressor map (file attached).
The marked red line is my today's status (preliminary). Its almost on surge line (afraid of blowing my turbo :| ).

I assume, main maps controlling turbo's work are boost and N75 maps?
Does, lowering desired boost and vanes, improve compressor efficiency?

The second problem i have is desired boost at low revs is always much higher than boost map itself. No idea why this happens, but that's other story :)

Need your ideas and advices.
Thanks in advance
