vehicle power supply

Postby dieselman » Wed Jun 10, 2015 10:38 pm

Can anyone recommend me a half decent power supply to use for flash programming, I've been told by a few people just to use a battery charger and to be fair the person who did my files for me on customers cars just used a battery charger or jump pack but is this really acceptable? I wouldn't of thought your run of the mill battery charger would be up to it? As I'm starting to do this myself now I would like to at least make sure I have covered the basics to prevent any failed writes etc due to something as simple as this.
