No ECU Response failed flash MPPS

Postby Katie86 » Mon May 16, 2016 12:59 am

Did two reads a few nights ago using my laptop using mpps v13
Everything was perfect.
Ended up buying a tune and tried reading again before flashing and now ECU is dead, car won't star at all.
ECU cannot be reached errors come.
I'm getting voltage green when no keys in igniton but when my keys are now in its reaching 10/11volts in red.

Car is a Chevy Captiva 2.0vdi 150bp

Tearing my hair out

Hi guys
Managed to recover believe it was a battery issue.
School girl error, I prob had auxiallu equipment running at same time ignition was on.
Next time I connect to a 12v source before doing anything

For reference managed to get hold of a kess v2 and wrote the original file I read a week ago.

Now I've took a clean read with kess for future.

Kess is a big stepping stone up from mpps

Now to look for a map

Oh come on, you can't judge a tool by a 'quality' clone! The MPPS is fantastic! (no seriously, its a good value tool, doesn't cover everything but works well)

Glad you got sorted though.
