Did anyone solve the PSA hdi lack of power above 3250 rpm??

Postby Sturm » Sat May 21, 2016 11:04 am

I cannot solve this problem in the software, im starting to think it is a hardware problem? The car pulls good from about 1750 rpm up to 3250, and then it just stops pulling.. From what i can read from graphing, the boost and the IQ drops at 3250 rpm, and its really wierd, because it pretty much exactly 3250 rpm the drop occurs..

The unmodified file is like this as well, but it is hardly noticeable because the unmodified file makes the car really slow. The more fuel and boost i give it, the more i notice the problem of course. This is really frustrating, as its like hitting a brick wall when the rpm reaches 3250..

I have set rpm limiter to 4500rpm, and in 3rd gear and above, i really struggle to hit the rev limiter.

The car is a suzuki grand vitara XL7, and the engine is PSA 2.0 16v hdi (DW10Ated4) This engine is found in peugot 806/807, citroen evasion, Fiat Ulysse, and probably a couple other cars as well.

Oh, and the ecu is edc15c2

Anyone??

Hi

I had been also looking this "phenomenon" after 3000rpm.
I noticed it 2.0L8V RHZ engine and 2.2L16V
Both car has edc15c2 ecu.

Here is some dyno grpas of my 2.0L engine.

There is two test round. More SOi -> more power on 4000rpm
