The first step of learning to tune an engine management electronics is actually getting some info on how it works
Then you have to read, read a lot about how it is done, fuel maps, calibration maps, how engine interpretes them and etc.
Finally and I think the best way to see how it actually works is to obtain a file from a person who already knows how to do it properly and take a look at it, use the BASIC KNOWLEDGE you gained earlier from the FREE INFORMATION you have (forums, guides etc.) to FINALLY see how it is practically done...
1. Read and learn
2. Compare a stock file to a tuned file
3. See differencies and answer yourself why are these maps modified regarding the info you have earlier
4. Test on car
Basic steps of remapping.
Want to be a pro mapper, then pay for a course, graduate it, stop swearing on people on forums and start making a profit from it.
There is no such thing as a dumbness, it is just people refusing to do something finding it impossible for themselfs, which is actually wrong!
I really hope proffessors, doctors, nobellists etc. finally understand forums are places full of people of various kinds - people sharing knowledge, people learning from the pervious ones, people just looking for a free file and people knowing something for ECU remapping but agressively refusing to share the info with others instead of swearing and telling them they are dumb.

Ludmil.
