arwolc wrote:Hello. Where can I check/see the checksum in winols? I read mod chip from my car, winols says there is one checksum incorrect. But how thats possible, I have car running with this chip? If I correct it in start of loading file, after exporting to ecu this file(not modified), car wont start. If I made some changes, winols correct checksums, but no success, car wont start. Maybe there is problems with MSA15 checksum corrector module? I tried authors files too - orig all ok, modded file winols want to correct 2 checksums. I corrected, exported as H and L bins and compared with CS OK files from another author - I have another checksums(I can see ChsSum in TL866 programmer software, if this is correct info about checksum)
Maybe could help someone with MSA15 checksums? Thanks

For Winols to know your checksum it needs the original.
If you load mod file first then checksums are not original so winols incorrectly tries to put them as original.
You must always load original first so winols can calculate the correct checksum
