If you do a test drive and make a log, you will see that even after the hysteresis map change, the EGR-actuator will sometimes open briefly to 82% and then close again to 100%.
so the hysteresis solution is not the 100% right way to close egr ?
No, only part of it!
After you do the hysteresis solution, to prevent fault codes, you have to put a EGR blanking plate on the exhaust manifold to completely close off the EGR system.
