Hi guys, i have a little dilema for you :D i thought about remaping turbo maps and i get interesting result. So...: if i increase fuel for example from 50mg to 55mg. i need more air for it. But in turbo map ecu automaticaly choose column for 55mg. So ecu automaticaly increase a turbo boost for this new fuel amount. Of course if we have in this column for 55mg in turbo map. So i think i shouldnt change turbo maps. Only if its needed a last column for fuel. :lol: I think i should change turbo map only if i decalibration duration map. Thats my logic.Its a true or i make somewhere mistake ? please explain me it. I hope somebody understand my question 8-)

Not sure if i understand what you are saying, but if there is already a boost pressure for 55mg, then i believe you wont need to extend turbo map, but if there is not, the you would need to extend the boost for 55mg. If i where you, i would have started the otherway around and see what is the max safe boost you can have on the turbo, cos it is usually the first limiting factor, and then tune the fuel according to the boost.

But i cant change turbo map in my car because it have not turbo controled by ecu :cry: it is question only because of interest. And where can i find mechanical turbo limits? Or only here in forum. First of all what model car is this you are referring to? give more detail and maybe we could give you better answers to help you.

I dont need turbo limits now but only for future so i dont know for which cars.

you need to study about ecu's. doesn't look like you know anything about tuning.

I read something about tuning and some years study in a school about different engines and fuel systems. So can you explain me where i did mistake and why you think i dont know anything about it? I know i am still stupid, nobody dont know all. I am keeping a motto : WE LEARNING ALL OUR LIFE ;)

My friend. we will help you if you want to learn, but then answer some questions otherwise we cannot help you. you are talking in circles about boost and fueling, but you didnt even specify the engine or vehicle yet, how should we know what to do if we do not have any detail?

I cant tell you details about car because it is a generally question. Yes i now remaping my picasso 2.0 hdi but i dont need it because it have mechanical actuator for turbo control and i dont increasing turbo pressure. It is question only because of interest :geek: But you understand my question right. I wanted to know if i should only extend IQ axes in turbo map and that you wrote me so thank you for help and spent time :thumbup:

It doesnt matter whether your turbo has an electronic or mechanical actuator it could still be controlled by the ecu, and there will be a map for it. The car you mentioned now should definitely have the turbo controlled by the ECU. What program are you using to work on the software?
