Hi there,
I want to disable my DPF and EGR in my Peugeot 207 CC 1.6 9HZ with 109 HP and EDC16C34. However, I have Galletto and a fixing frame. I bought for testing a second ECU. I want to clone my old ECU and then write it back modified to the second ECU. I do not want to brick my old working ECU.
I already read about the whole stuff but there are still some questions.
I thought to do it like that:
1. Play around with the second ECU. Try to read it and to write it back.
2. Read my old ECU with Galletto in BDM mode.
3. Write the file of my old ECU to the new one.
4. Test whether the car works like before with the new second ECU.
5. If it is fine, reset all counters of the car with DiagBox (additive and DPF).
6. Read again my old ECU.
7. Modify my file
8. Write the modified file to the second ECU.
9. Remove the stuff in the inside of the DPF. Remain all connections. Use a blanking plate for the EGR.
Did I forget something?
How is it on TÜV (car inspection)? I don't think they will see via OBD that the filter was removed, or? They are just looking for errors?
I read that I probably need to disable the additive ECU with DiagBox. Is this true?
Thank you
Best regards
