Tuning mss65

Postby Saeed9321 » Sat Sep 10, 2016 4:24 pm

Hello

I have a bmw m5 with s85 mss65 ecu, I would want to tune my car
I have fgtech v2 I can read partial flash I though I can use winols to
find the maps and tune them, but I'm not sure how I can correct the checksum.

Any ideas how I can tune my car and how??

Thank you all

Hi Saeed9321,

you don´t need to calculate Checksum, because Checksum is calculated by writing.
Have you expirience with the remapping?

You mean that the checksum is automatically calculated in WinOLS.

I'm afraid that the car won't start after i edit the map with WinOLS thats it.

I have another question, What if used TunerPro for editing the map with exciting XDF file let's say for ms43,
Do I need to correct the checksum and how I can do that win WinOLS?

I'm beginner with WinOLS but I'm profissional with tuning, I used to tune standalone ECUs.
