To connect adapter ecubay

Postby McLarenF1 » Mon Oct 03, 2016 11:10 am

Several months ago buy the adapters 4 in 1 of the web ecubay, even I have not had the pleasure of using them, but it has assaulted a doubt, the adapter cannot be used directly on the interface, is necessary to happen for the adapter of several connections, is is where the doubts enter me, of the interface to the corresponding connector already be fgtech ktag xprog, but where I connect the adapter? In mux? Have I to feed the adapter to 12v?

I attach image

Thank you in advance

hi there,
on each box for adapters there is link to detail user manual: www.ecubay.com/manual.pdf

there are 3 connectors for different programmers and name of programmer is written on board. So if you have KTAG plug it
into KTAG plug. The part that is away from plugs for programmers goes towards adapter.

FGTECH and XPROG do not have 12V output so you put 12V to the board if you use programmers that have no output power.

So:
1. Plug flat cable from programmer to proper plug where the name of that programmer is marked
2. Plug flat cable for adapter in MUX plug and in adapter
3. Plug power 12V so you will have also led light ON to help you while pointing

you can also take off plastic connectors off and cut bridged connections below FGTECH and KTAG plug,
that way you will be sure it will work for any "hardware" variation...

if you are unsure, use some spare ecu that you have and make first read on it.

manual also attached here.
