EGR OFF PEUGEOT 607 2.7 HDI V6 2007

Hi Tuner,

Im completely new to this topic but I would like to ask for your help.

I need to deactivate both EGR´s on my Peugeot 607 Siemens SID201 ECU.
Do you know if there is a way to read my file via OBD on this engine?
Or is it necessary to open a BDM connection?

If this is the wrong from thread please feel free to move it.

I think - it is necessary to open for reading
Then you can write through OBD
This is indicated by KESS & Galletto

you can do with genuine tool over obd you just need the good identifyers

Do you mean you gan do this via Lexia? Or what you mean by "original tool"?

Hi,
You can not read the ecu via ODB
But with Kess you can write
So if you find the right file you can have it modified or do it your self and write it.
There are 2 ways to desactivate your EGR's
One is to empty the hysteresis files.
The other way is throu the switch wich is build in the software of the sid 201.
If you send me a pic of you ECU or tell met wich hardware and software versions you have, I might be able to help you.
