Mpps 13.02 edc16 no reply from ecu

Hello, I need help. I have Mpps v13.02 cable with the same number software installed. I installed the drivers correctly and I can read the ecu ID, but when I try to read the ecu file is responds with a message: no reply from ecu.

I am using windows 7 64 bit. What could be the problem?

Car is a4 1.9tdi BRB edc16u31

You did not selected right ECU type from menu list.

what is the correct ecu type? searching from the internet I think it should be edc16u31, I also tried u34 and u1 with no luck.
