Hi all, new on here, need an explanation on the file ive just read and saved.

Using an mpps v13 reader, read and saved file, but it means nothing to me, opened it using word and notepad and it just symbols.

Had anti pollution fault showing on dash and engIne light on cleared faults and they dont appear on dash, but would like to find the cause, assume its DPF fault, hence want to read saved file.

mpps is not an diagnostic tester, it's programming device. DPF OFF can be done for many vehicles, but do not try to touch file and save it to the vehicle via OBD without knowledge - you can brick your ECU via OBD by doing that. Pay someone to do this profesionally or read & learn for a solutions.

Lol, I wish you could just open it with notepad and edit.

You should look for WinOLS or Tunerpro with a proper map pack.
