Reading 1.9TDI EDC15 with mpps

Hello there,

i wanted to ask if it's possible to read the edc15 ecu from a VW Golf IV 1.9TDI 66kw using mpps.
VW hardware number: 038 906 012K

I noticed another post with someone having problems reading the ecu with hardware number ending in 018 so i thought with mine ending in 012 is even older and therefore probably not readable?

I'd really appreciate any help you can provide.

you need to desolder and read it with a programmer

You mean i have to desolder and read the flash memorie IC am29f400 right?

012K is AGR engine

jou can read and write it at normal speed with mpps!
and edc15p you can allways recover with bootmode ;)

always read first!
then you have backup

are you sure that it's edc15p, because according to bosch's official service website, my ecu is a edc15vm+v : https://www.bosch-repair-service.com/DE ... 1010864-VW

bootmode must do it!
i have the same ecu here
