you need to try and get as much data as possible so log 011 only by its self and if turbo had mechanical issue you would see this as the log will show sudden changes trying to pull turbo into control and suddenly aa it un sticks will go other way.. like seesaw effect and this would usually show if vans are sticking..

Is this a standard car with standard turbo? a recon turbo perhaps?

did you remap this your self? and does it drive ok? does it hit limp mode?

ECU is trying to adjust boost, but remember each turbo is set up slightly differently and if re=con it may be set up wrong, 2 ways to fix this assuming it drives ok either manually adjust the turbo rod length to bring it under control. or use software to bring it under control but it will need N75 Duty Map adjusted and could get complicated!! try and make a change near the highest boost area and then re log and see if boost comes down, although you may have to do a lot of logging and then adjustments etc etc..

I would say looking at the log you done (really needs more data and from wot@1000rpm) that the turbo vain's aren't the issue but get another log done and post data.


***Make sure and get a reading from the MAP sensor with engine off so you have a true atmospheric reading to compare it with to get the real boost pressure.

Yes, car and turbo is stock. I think that turbo wasn't ever changed. Car now has 301000km on clock. What is recon turbo?

Yes, I have remapped it myself. At the beggining it was ok, but after a month i made another log and noticed overboost. I have changed turbo map (decrease values) but overboost still occurs. It drives very good, no limp mode, no power limitation, nothing wrong but the turbo logs.

I will make another turbo logs and upload it in the evening. I will also check atmospheric pressure as you said.
