Hello,

I'm new here, and completely newbie in ecu tuning area, but i want to learn about it, because it is very interesting.

First of all as the title says i own an Abarth Punto evo multiair with Marelli ECU. This ECU as the most programmer says, is very strict and has many protections.

For this reason only few programmers are able to tune it and even less, are able to tune it properly, without stock parts ( turbo etc ).

Is this true?

Secondly, i read a lot on this forum and i found out that most of you are using the winOLS software to edit the ECU. Is winOLS able to tune any ECU theoritically?

Third, what kind of tool can i use to read the Marelli ECU so i can dump the ECU file, and load it to winOLS?
