Hi,

Just remapped an Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde yesterday, but as soon as I wrote the file the engine management light came on and stop/start function became unavailable.

Scanned it with Delphi, engine error is 'p1300 Phonic wheel adaption - present'.

Clearing it won't work and even did an 'adaption reset' on it.

Put the original file back, the errors still come up.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

start the engine and wait untill it's warmed up. (wait till the temp gauge stop to the middle..)
then quickly rev to 5000rpm, wait a second and let the engine drop to idle..
do it 3 times.
