IT is depend what you want to do.
If you want reduced max rpm for dedicate gear , torque limiter from this gear is the best.
If you want do lunch control - not this way

Yes, lie is bad thing, you must to confess.
This option is disabled, Gear_TL is much higher than Torque limiter, but ECU always check this values. It's no matter for ECU which Gear TL it is. It can be neutral, first gear or even 666th gear if you set proper gear ratio values. ECU is stupid, he belives on you and he do, what you command. Everything is programmable. You can do Launch Control by Gear_TL and it's good way if you can't do this by LC map or other solution.
