I read out my car today (Golf 4 EDC15VM+)

Laptop plugged to power and Car plugged to CTEK Multi US 25000 Charger (Supply only. 14,2-14,3v)

First it would not give me ECU data, then I removed dash fuse and tryed like 5times and then suddenly i got the data.

Then it would not read the file, first time it went to 3% and then failed, second time it went to 100% and then program chashed. The last time, I closed program, connected car and key on, opened program and read, and I got the file.

After that I read a Seat Leon (Also EDC15vm+) Would not give me ECU data at all, tryed like 10 times (never tryed to remove dash fuse)
After a faild ecu data read, I closed program and connected car and key on, opened program and read, got the file first try.

My question is, is it safe for me to start trying to write a file to the car? kinda get the ECU bricked if it stops half way through?

Hope you guys can help me out

I found in the Galletto Manuel that CPU usage must not be over 20% at startup else the read will not start.
is this why I'm having troubles? it's on a Win 7 PC (My Win 8 PC will not accept FGTech HW driver, even with digital signature disabled)

sometimes with vag cars you need to pull out dash fuse and turn off ac and radio.
if you have a good read you can write!

if write fails dont close the program or ignition just write ori and its safe ;)

Okey I only tryed dash fuse not radio. (it is an original radio so might be that?)

My problem is that i tryed the program froze xD but Ill try, when my map is done (:
