Hi can any1 help iv got a mk4 golf pd130 that i have just remapped to 181bhp but having a bit of unusual power behaviour wen my rpm goes above 3000 the power falls away and comes back i do have a slight boost leak from my intercooler but it never effected it b4 the remap iv also put a bigger air filter on and removed the egr can any shed any light on my problem i will upload the map in time for any1 that wants to take a look to see if there is any kinks in it thanks

i havent looked at the remap, but i had the same problem, in my case it was the MAF.

Did u solve it with the maf is so what did u do and i can give it a try im pretty new to all this so i knew i would make mistakes lol

ill have a look at your file little bit later and try to disable MAF for you (change to map) then you can test.
but like shooting said, maybe something in the remap is bad ..

did you do the remap by yourself ?

A friend got me the map and said it had been looked at and it was all ok as i was a bit unsure about it i didnt want it ripping my clutch to bit and over boosting turbo. He reasured me it was ok so i put it on my car but found this problem and as far as i know the maf had been removed

the maf is activated and the car can do more power in my opinion..

heres your file with maf deactivated and i lowered down boost because you dont need so much boost (air) to burn 65mg.

test and reply
