Hello. I have winols 2.24. I'm new here.. I have two my own cars files (audi a4 b6 96kw PD EDC15 and opel vectra 1.9cdti 110kw edc16c39) . Winols shows potential maps from audi file, but nothing from edc16c39. Why ? Winols do not show edc16 potential maps ? Or my winols miss something ?

winols won't always pick up "maps' it picks up what he thinks is maps. you have to find maps manually.

For Opel open Properties, and choose Bosch on ECU type.Also activate Statistic maps on Maps Search from Miscellanous menu.Your Opel file is partial read ,must read BDM.

There is difference if file is readed using mpps or BDM for winols maps detection ?

sometimes there is an extra codeblock that only get's read by BDM but mostly they are the same the BDM read contains immo data ect.

Thank you. Will read BDM too, for ecu repair if obd2 fails. Now i see potential maps, but i think some of them are not maps at all. First little steps for knowing my car.. Do not want to create another thread, will ask here. I found 3 driver wish list maps. Why they are 3 ? 1 gear, forward, reverse or what ? I can spot them only by analyzing data on maps, or there is rule which map is first, which is second ?

you have to use a damos file if you are new to tuning to see which maps is which.

I attached my file. Also, i do not now my ecu is edc16c9 or edc19c39 . HW number 1037383687 , SW 0281012534, so i guess it is edc16c9 . Also, i found damos for that ecu. There is a million maps that i do not understand, and i do not know or that damos is good for my file. Can anybody check it ? Atttached my car file and damos.

for edc the important tuning maps are the following:

Drivers Wish.
Torque Limiters.
Smoke Limiters.
Lambda.
Soi. (Start of Injection)
Duration.
Boost.
Rail Pressure.
Overheating protection.

Can't find lot of needed maps in my file.. Will post dump later, maybe someone can help me.
