I have spent "a while" creating a spreadsheet to use ECU tables for lookup.
I wanted to do this to create EOI and duration tables in a way that made sense.
You cant fix something if you dont understand it so I wanted to look for relationships if they existed.

One of the main thing I wanted to look at was the realtionship between SOI as a Ratio of Duration in degrees for the various IQ columns.
I wanted to know how this changed with rpm or load.

So I have pulled apart my Honda EDC16 tables to test this and the results are attached.
I found it shocking that around 35mg the end of injection is way before TDC from 3500rpm onward.
But I lack experience to know what is the norm.

Hello

I am obtaining different results from your data. Maybe i am loosing something?

For example at 60 mm3 and 4000 rpm
rpm: 4000 rpm
IOT: 1161 us
SOI: 28,1 deg
EOI: 0,236 deg

I use this formula:
EOI=SOI-rpmx360/60000000xIOT

You have put 1408 instead of 1161. At 60 mm3 and 4000 rpm, the RP is 1600 bar.

Read the notes ;)

My engine uses mg/str for the maps and the calculations use that.
The duration table itself does still use mm3/str though (uniquely to EDC16c31).
So this is automagically accounted for in the calculation for you.
[rail pressure and soi use mg/str in the columns. Duration uses mm3 in the columns]
:thumbup:

60mm3 would be 50mg
So you have to enter 50mg @ 4000rpm to show 60mm3 @ 4000rpm
[Dont touch anything other than mg and rpm in the quick test table as the other cells are calculations]

MM3 60.00
MG 50.00
RPM 4000

SOI 28.10
FRP 1600
DUR 1161
EOI 0.24
MBT -100.8
