This is just a philosophical/academic question,

Why is it that when you want to immo-off an old TDI ecu, you can just use the 60 trick and it works.

However if you use immo-killing software on the same ecu, it makes a lot of changes to the whole dump. It doesnt just do a automatic version of the 60 trick, but it completely changes a lot of the dump.

Anybody know?
