But... we have got a rule at home that I can buy any car which is relatively cheap, even if it is broken.

In vcds there is no reading from egr, both oxygen sensors and dpf. But dpf is physically in place, and there is still some values in demand of egr.
Whatever... it is 2007 seat altea xl 2.0 tdi ppd 1.2
