GOLF 5 2.0 TDI, BKD - EGR OFF

Hi,

Today I did EGR off by hysteresis map as i seen in tutorials and checksum should be OK... i would appreciate if you could check the file and confirm that everything is done ok?

Is it enough to just flash moded file it in the car, or should i also physically block EGR with plate?

And also, is this a good way to "remove" EGR on this car/ecu, or there is a better way, like EGR switch and than unplug EGR physically?

this should be enough. if you want to put blanking plates as well you can do so.

Ok, then i won't...

I flashed map yesterday and check the values with VCDS, and it works great! Recirc. duty cycle is 96,4% all the time, and before it was 41% at idle...

I'm happy cause i made my first "remap" :lol:
