How to turn off egr 1.6 tdci

Hi all,
I have a 2007 1.6tdci CMAX 110.
Any advise on how to turn off the egr systems in the ecu using a modified ELM327 cable?

You need a proper programing tool, not a scanner

Oh ok, I have been misled, i was told I could use the likes of FORScan with this cable to program?

If not what do you recommend?
