Problem with my mpps cable...

Postby Starter » Tue Sep 19, 2017 2:54 am

Car: 2001 New Beetle TDI, ALH and has 292,XXX kms. It is so stock lol (no aftermarket radio)

Problem: I bought a v13 MPPS cable for the car and it was recommended to me by a good friend who cannot figure out this problem. I open mpps and it reads the volts, and can check ecu id BUT can't read the file. Sometimes it will read halfway and then give me an error or won't work at all.

Thank you all so much I am only beginning in this area of modding my car and want to continue and do even more!

P.S. there is check engine light and i did pull fuse 11, also think the engine light might be because i haven't done a carbon cleaning yet LOOOOL...

Yes, pulled dash fuse, which is #11, and radio was off.

Hello everyone
by experience I do not know what happens to those memories of those ECUs that are very sensitive and as they are reading they are stuck, and if you try to write they stop shortly before starting, and the 29f400 dead
I desolde and replace another 29f400 of another ECU
then everything ok
also in new beatle

programer tl866 + socket 29fxxx
