Lol!! The cheap file services on ebay are NOT professional tunes. They are % added with cracked titanium, and the best you can hope for is that it won't go limp mode or break anything.
30 euros is nothing for a decent map pack. I would say even 100 euros isn't bad, considering you can learn so much from it, and use it to make other map packs for the same engine, diff sw number.

i agree with you 100 percent, people does not understand how much time and effort it takes to actually make map packs. they want the best but they don't want to pay for it

Houdini, I think that this is something you don't have to bother with... You know that you spend a lot of time and money on tools and to learn things about remapping, and you know that your work is high quality, and there will always be people who will appreciate that and pay for that...

And also there will always be people who will tell you that you are to expansive and they can find mappack for lower price. I'm sure that they will come back to you after buying this crap on ebay from "professional" tuner.

My hobby is car detailing, and there is a lot of situations like that... For example when you tell guy price of 150€+ for paint correction (polishing) and wax protection and that it will take two days to do that, they said that some guy do this for 50€ and it's done for 3-4 hours... In that case, i just smile and tell that i would like to see car after that "professional" treatment. I' only spend 2 hours do wash, decontaminate, and clay paintwork to prepare it for polishing, and by that time that "professional detailer" is almost done with "polishing"

So, keep it up with good work!

do not give mappaks to anyone, you can give hints, but giving mappaks - you are supporting their lazyness :)
and also they then earn fast money and you do not earn nothing...

help - yes
supporting lazyness - no

you are good guy, do not let people to take advantage about that fact.

I'm really willing to learn, sucks some people mess things up for people like me! I just bought a 2003 jetta tdi, I did all the maintenance. water pump timing belt glow plugs oil fuel filter and got the ross tech cable for vcds to time the injection pump. I also got the KKL cable just for the heck of it. I started reading about tuning and seen some youtube videos nd downloaded tuner pro nefmoto and some other program. I got the stock bin but I have no clue where to start moving numbers around and don't want to mess my car up. I would like a file to compare but I'm also wondering if these programs Ive got are okay? Any suggestions to where to start or the best way to get started? thanks
